21st Virtual Annual Appreciation Event

Saturday, February 26, 2022 6:00 PM, Virtual Event

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases and in the abundance of safety, the event has been transitioned to virtual. The event helps provide the financial support required for the museum to operate and offer quality programs and exhibitions and to celebrate the contributions of individuals who have made significant contributions to our community, our state, or our country. Due to COVID-19 and the devasting effect it has had on our ability to generate revenue, your generosity is more important than ever to ensure the museum remains open to the community.

We are so excited to be able to share a part of the Brazos Valley African American Museum that has helped so many members of the community and cannot wait to see the impact this year’s Appreciation Event can have with your help!

The 2022 honorees are Mr. Raymond Arrington, Red Cross and Carver/Kemp Neighborhood Association; Pastor Seddrick & Mrs. Rebecca Eddington, New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and H-E-B; Dr. Brian Merrell, Bryan ISD; Mrs. Fabi Payton, I Heart Bryan; and Dr. Phebe Moore Simmons, Family Promise-Bryan/College Station.

Sponsorships and video ads are available. See brochures below for more information.
