The Right to Vote Exhibition

Visit the newest exhibition, “The Right to Vote” on display until November 28, 2020. The exhibition will include pieces from the Smithsonian Institution poster exhibition “Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence,” which commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, giving women the right to vote. The exhibition will also include materials regarding Congressman John Lewis and his connection to the Brazos Valley. The Brazos Valley African American Museum is located at 500 E. Pruitt Street, Bryan, and opened Tuesday through Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. The museum practices physical distancing, cleaning protocols, and face masks as recommended by the CDC.
