KWANZAA KARAMU FEAST

Karamu a feast that traditionally takes place on January 1st, the 7th day of Kwanzaa period that begins December 26th. This year we will celebrate Karamu on December 28th, the 3rd day of Kwanzaa, which is UJIMA, Collective Work & Responsibility.

This program will include music, singing, poetry readings and dancing and will conclude with the Karamu (feast). Activities for children will be offered at the Museum in partnership with The Children’s Museum of Brazos Valley.

Join us for our Karamu and bring a treasured family dish for all to share.
