This event honors and publicly recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to our community, state, or country and includes dinner, entertainment, and an auction.
We are excited to bring our one-of-a-kind event back in person! The event helps provide the financial support required for the museum to operate and offer quality programs and exhibitions and to celebrate the contributions of this year’s honorees. Due to COVID-19 and the devastating effect it has had on our ability to generate revenue, your generosity is more important than ever to ensure the museum remains open to the community.
We are so excited to be able to share a part of the Brazos Valley African American Museum that has helped so many members of the community and cannot wait to see the impact this year’s Appreciation Event can have with your help!
This year’s guest speaker, Dr. Annie S. McGowan, is the Vice President and Associate Provost for Diversity at Texas A&M University.
The event MC is Jason Cornelius, Financial Center Manager of Frost Bank and Chair of the Bryan College Station Chamber of Commerce.
