Pastor Eddington and Rebecca Eddington are both residents Of Bryan, Texas and are very well known, faithful, and committed to serving within the church and throughout the community.
Pastor Seddrick Eddington A Bryan Native, Attended BISD and Was A Member Of The Class Of 1987. For The Last 20 Years He Has Been An Employee Of Mid-Southwest Baking Company and He Was Chosen As The Pastor and Overseer In 2011 At New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Here In Bryan, Texas Where He Has Faithfully and Carefully Served Teaching and Preaching For The Last 11 Years.
Mrs. Rebecca Eddington Was Born And Raised A Native Of Madisonville, Texas. She Attended MISD and Was A Member Of The Class Of 1994. She Continued Her Studies At Tyler Jr. College and Sam Houston State University. She Then Relocated To Bryan, Texas And Started A Career With H-E-B Grocery Retailer Where She Has Faithfully Served For The Last 26 Years As The Stores Retail Communication Manager.
During Their Tenure At New Chapel, Pastor And Sis Eddington Have Been Very Active and Committed To The Ministry. Under This Leadership, They Visioned and Implemented The New Chapel CIA ( Christians In Action) Ministry Which Was Established To Help Aid and Enable The Church As A Body To Be A Blessing To The Congregants Within By Giving Scholarships, Sponsoring Youth Trips, Church Functions and Outings For The Congregations, As Well As Assisting Many Local Organizations, Charities, and Individuals Within The Community Such As The Brazos Valley Food Food For Families, Unity In The Community, Brazos Valley Souper Bowl Of Caring, Urban League Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive, Phoebe’s Home For Women and Children, East Park Food and Toy Drive, Along With Many Others.
Pastor and Sis. Eddington Have Been Married For 18 Years and To Their Union Were Blessed With 2 Sons Christopher Eddington (Who Proceeded Them To Heaven) and Christian Eddington Who Is 15, A Freshman At Bryan High, and Also The Church’s Musician For The Last 6 Years. In Their Spare Time They Love Spending Time Together As A Family, Hanging Out, Going To Movies, Or Just Relaxing But They Find Their Most Joy Serving God and Being A Blessing To Others.
