  • Listen to a history of hats in the African American Culture
  • Learn how the Red Hatter Society began
  • Enjoy a story about “Miss Fannie’s Hats”
  • View a display of hats with history and memories
  • Participate in a “Hat Parade” and story sharing
  • Use your creativity to magically create a hat for a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, or Friend in your life using two pieces of newspaper and craft items such as ribbons, pom poms, flowers, feathers, yarn, fabric pieces, tissue paper, buttons
  • Buy tickets for a hat raffle
